Facilities Manager

1-year Contract

Palo Alto, Ca – On-site

$65 - $75/hour

Our client, a world-renowned hospital, is seeking a Facilities Manager for a long-term contract! This role serves as the primary liaison for a key client, overseeing a broad range of internal and external operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment. The position involves providing leadership and coordination across multiple teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards

Responsibilities:

• Manage, and coordinate facility services to include but not limited to parking, security, cleaning, landscaping, building system & equipment maintenance services, fire life safety, emergency response
• Actively seek ways to improve cost efficiencies, including management of purchased services, forecasting, and variance reporting
• Directly responsible for the financial management of cost centers in their portfolios
• Perform regular site or zone inspections for conditions and safety
• Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as the department representative on committees and professional organizations
• Assesses and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project
• Prepares and maintains accurate, timely, and auditable project records/files, and cost estimates
• Oversees project management as needed for cosmetic upgrades. Manages labor pool to coordinate facility requests as applicable
• This position may require on-call availability as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of directly related work experience
• MUST have hospital experience
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
• Preferred professional designations: BOMI, IFMA, CRECI
