Job Description
Spherion is seeking a full-time, temp-to-hire Electronics Repair Technician for a leading company in the telecommunications industry. If you have strong soldering and de-soldering skills and experience in electronics repair, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
Pay: $15.50/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Port Allen, LA
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electronic components, troubleshooting down to the component level.
Perform precise soldering and de-soldering on circuit boards.
Read and interpret schematics to identify and replace defective parts.
Test and triage units brought in for repair.
Maintain an organized and high-quality work area.
Support technicians with inventory management, equipment verification, and data entry.
Work efficiently in a high-speed, high-volume repair environment.
Utilize PC and RF handheld devices for logging and tracking equipment.
Handle additional duties as assigned.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Electronics Certification preferred
4-year degree or 2-3 years of experience as an Electronic Technician
