Position Overview: The Salesforce Administrator will be pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day management and administration of our Salesforce platform. This includes implementing best practices, managing user permissions, troubleshooting issues, developing flows and automation and providing critical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce applications, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. This role is structured as part-time, non-exempt with an estimated weekly commitment of 20+ hours. There is potential to promote the right candidate to a full-time position. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity, security and visibility Configure Salesforce applications according to best practices, including user profiles, roles, workflows and automation processes Perform regular system audits and maintenance tasks, such as data cleansing and accuracy oversight Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance business processes Provide training and support to users, including onboarding new staff and creating user documentation Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and KPIs to monitor system performance and user engagement Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries and issues, responding to and resolving user issues in a timely manner Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features, ensuring our system remains competitive, compliant and effective Manage integrations with other systems and applications as required Assist in the development and implementation of Salesforce best practices and governance policies Qualifications: Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator (minimum of 2 years preferred) Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, Flows, Lightning Web Components, process builds and reporting Experience with data management and data migration tools (e.g. Data Loader, Salesforce Migration Tool) Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with stakeholders at all levels Experience with Apex and/or Visualforce is a plus Hourly Range: $25 - $35 Benefits Offered: Flexible PTO Catered lunches at Chicago HQ once per week Team events and outings NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
